In the cockpit, Doudou meet the Commandant, the pilot, who makes him sit down on the instrument panel, just in front of him.
- There are lots of buttons everywhere, even on the ceiling ! Is it very difficult to pilot ? Asks Doudou.
- Oh yes, says the pilot. You have to learn to use all these instruments and to train during hours and hours before being able to pilot alone a plane like this one.
- What a pity, says Doudou, I wish I could pilot a plane.
- Well, says the pilot, if you want, I can teach you the bases of piloting, and if you are endowed, I will let you hold the control column.
