A few minutes later, Ahmed moves aside the embers which cover the pastry. Doudou is open-mouthed :
“ Wow ! It’s amazing ! exclaims Doudou. But the bread has been cooked in the sand ! It might be full of grains that will break our teeth.

- Not at all, answers Ahmed. Since I have smashed the dough before cooking it, you just have to scratch a little, to tap the bread’s crust, and all the grains of sand will fall…
